Thanks Karthik & Tom for the lovely & thoughtful comments. I am glad you are enjoying the podcast.

@Krishna,

For me Excel is a vehicle for achieving something greater. When I was working, Excel (along with Power Point) were means to communicate my thoughts, analysis & reports with my bosses, clients & colleagues.

Now that I am working for myself (yay, no more TPS reports to be made on Friday evenings), I use Excel mainly to create examples so that millions of users around the world can learn & become awesome in their lives.

1. We have an YouTube channel where we post new videos almost every month. Podcast is another way to reach to our audience and share knowledge in a new medium. It costs nothing and there is no pressure to listen. So I am not sure how adding podcasts to everything else we do can disappoint you.

2. We are operating a for-profit company, not a charity. We try to follow 80-20 approach where 80% of time we provide good value free content and 20% of time we ask you to pay. This is the best I can do. You are free to select any other website or resources for your Excel knowledge if you do not like this.

3. I live a busy personal life. I have friends, family and other needs to attend too. That is why once every few months we have 1 week off when no new posts are made. Given the fact that we already have more than 500 posts, 40,000+ comments, 25,000+ forum posts, I am sure how you can find something new to learn everyday.

Again, thanks for your feedback. Please note that this is not a free lunch. I am happy to provide lots of appetizers and drinks for free. But everything has a cost.
