What version of Power BI do I need?

The course videos are recorded with a mix of October 2024 & slightly older versions. You can use any recent version of Power BI Desktop to enjoy the lessons. Please upgrade Power BI to latest version if possible.

Some of the bonus content & case studies use older version of Power BI, but this should not be a problem.

Do I need Power BI Service / Online account?

Power BI online account is not necessary to participate in the course. That said, if you have an account, you can upload the files / datasets there to experience the last leg of Power BI report distribution concepts.
