Welcome to Pointy Haired Dilbert. Over the last few weeks, we have seen huge influx of new members in our little community. So I am writing this to welcome you.
This is a site for people who want to tell stories using charts and data. Although we focus more on learning Microsoft Excel, we have hundreds of useful resources on data visualization, dashboards, charting best practices and data analytics.
My name is Chandoo, I am from India, but I travel around the globe frequently and have worked in 7 countries in last 3 years. I have started writing PHD in 2004, mostly to tell my friends and family about my b-school life. The blog became an excel and charting community in 2007 and has been growing strongly ever since. In year 2009, I have received the MVP award from Microsoft. Just few days back I have become a dad too…

i always browsed mr.excel and used to see MVP writtne below names of people who used to solve queries in excel forum there......i just used to admire as to what they have special in them that they are MVP......
