    Hi Chandoo,
    Why can’t I install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Office 2013? What are the reasons?

  2. Raj says:

    Dear Chandoo,

    Excel is the same old while sheet electronics. As you can use Excel to organize your data into rows and columns and to perform and various things.

    Is someone working on it futuristic Excel.

    Raj

    Hi! Chandoo,
    It's been long time since you have created new excel course (last one I think was power pivot more than a year back). Are you thinking/working on creating new Excel course? (I am eagerly waiting).
    Also, aren't you coming in New York to teach your excel magic?

    Thanking you,

    how to use what if analysis to solve real time logistics problem ?

    • Hui... says:

      @Arnab
      can you post an example of what your after?

      • Arnab says:

        Hi Hui,
        One example can be like this --
        I have 3 towns which are pretty far from my mother warehouse say 30KM, 40KM, 50 KM
        In town 1,I have 10 distributors,In town 2 I have 20 distributors and in town 3 there are 14 distributors
        Now if I appoint a courier he will charge x amount
        If I use my own vehicle I will incur Y amount.
        Now Can I use solver to solve this problem.
        Or I can use scenario manager to compare between various vendors.

        • Chandoo says:

          This is a classic case where Solver based model can give optimum solution.

          Since your reply contains only partial data about the problem, I am unable to model it.

          But I suggest you to get the excellent Data Smart book by John Foreman and read it to get a good idea about these kind of problems & solving them using Excel.

        • Hui... says:

          @Arnab
          I would simply model all combinations and then add up the total and see which option is cheapest
          Are you able to share some real data with us?

  5. Elizabeth says:
