updates from a weakling…
If you happened to hear first hello world, then you would have recognized the fact that my second hello world is not as vigorous or as loud as my first one. Cant help it either.
Well, lets come to the point. ( becoming a manager… you see.. )
I have so far taken 2 days of classes or 6 sessions in iimi jargon. It am already feeling like i have been here for a month. The fact that i can do so much in a day and still manage to talk sense in class is making me feel terrific.
well, for each days sessions you are supposed to read 10-30 pages of reading and/or solve a case ( either in group or individual basis ) this reading takes up most of the leisure time we have. Apart from that, you will usually have n number of other things to do over here. But, I am enjoying the work here. As of now, i have not entered a situation where i am completely pressurized.
The courses started so far are,
QT – engineers wet dream
microeconomics for Managers – Logical and stimulating
MANAC – supposed to be a terror for engineers. But i guess, i can scrape through with a D
Managerial Oral Communication – soft course, manageable
HB at Work – baaah…
other important things that are worrying me are,
– sleep, i am sleeping anything between 3-5 hours a day. Don’t know how many days this will continue. Since i am new to classes i have not started sleeping in the classes. But once the pressure mounts i guess i have to do that to compensate the nightouts.
– food. Well, this north Indian food is making me eat less everyday. I though i would become fat when i came here. Now, i am proved totally wrong. With classes running upto 1:30 pm and chawal and roti waiting for me.. I am gonna loose all my fat… :(. So much for fa(r)ting in the cp.
Thassall for now. Goodnight. or Goodmorning if you like it that way.
