We had a presentation session on ‘brand extensions’ today in brand management class. It was a good learning experience to see what are the possibilities and steps to be taken before extending a brand. Its an altogether different question that some people were not comfortable with the idea of Apple getting into space travel. But what is of more related is, when I am walking back to my room I have seen this ‘Aagarbathi’ packet near our temple. The packet name surprised me.
Incidentally, have you ever noticed how almost all local ‘Aagarbathi’ companies do this. We have ‘Eenadu‘ incense sticks in AP named after the largest news paper of AP.
