Sweet Sweet Testimonial from a Sweet Sweet Lady
They say on once in a while even monkeys thump their chests and show off. As a proud evolver, I must take their lead and thump my chest. I want to share a sweet testimonial I received from Marcea, one of our newest readers.
The e-mail message is pasted as is below,
Thank you for bringing a little fun and joy into an otherwise boring technical carpet of much grayness.
I stumbled upon your site 3 weeks ago and since, I have never even attempted to trouble any other excel forum. You have, in one way shape or form, helped a mere Excel-caterpillar (who had munched her way through several tasteless leaves) grow from a lethargic worm into a fat happy and veritable brightly coloured butterfly full to the brim of Excel ideas (still need to work on the how to make the dreams a thing! But now I want to understand the process rather than merely find where I can copy and paste from!!).
I never NEVER thought I would say this, but Excel has become fun to learn again.
Keep feeding me the emails!!! NomNom
Much love – your fluttery friend from the Uk xx
I am so happy to know that PHD is making excel fun to learn. 🙂
More power to Marcea and all our readers.
Now go have a fun weekend. When you come back, we have a hot and sexy excel trick waiting for you.

Indeed. For me Chandoo and Peltiertech are the sites responsible for 90% of my new excel knowledge.
Now I know almost twice of what I knew back on January 2009 about excel so I can be a better professional and help more people so they can love Excel as much as some of Us do.
Daily when I open my Google Reader your sites are the only ones I always look for new content.
Thanks again for your work and for taking the time to help others.
Yes, I agree with the original email (very cute) and Oliver's comment. I am a recent graduate and working in the capacity as an analyst. I would use Excel throughout college but what they teach you is nothing close to what you need to know for on the job. Thank you Chandoo for providing me with a vast resource of tools with enough instruction (but still leaving that "you figure that part out") to make it exciting to go through and learn the walkthroughs.
Hi Chandoo!!
I am a lover of Excel but all the stuff I've learned here has made everyone else appreciate my Excel Art. Thank you for all your great and practical tips; I always look forward to them in the morning. Weird, but totally true!
Keep up the great work!
I agree with all the above comments and what a sweet lady Marcea is !! Welcome to Chandoos' extended family dear Butterfly. Chandoo you make Excell exciting and colourful with your somtimes different way of looking at things and problems.
