Prep. Course

Before the bootcamp, you will be given 3 hours prep. course to bring you up to speed with Excel & Power BI.

Daily Learning & Growing

During the bootcamp, we meet everyday for 2 hours and unpack a new concept. Everyday ends with a Q&A session and homework problem for you to practice. You will also get sample files & recordings everyday to help you learn offline.

Follow-up

We meet again after 10 days to check the progress and share the experiences.

Who is this training for?

This training is perfect for Excel & Power BI beginners & intermediate users. If you work in a data profession (data analyst, reporting analyst or similar) and need to use Excel, Power BI & SQL on a regular basis, you will find this training extremely valuable.

How this is training is run?

This training will be thru a Zoom video session. You will be able to see my presentation & explanations as well as share your audio (and screen if you want) when asking questions.

What software do I need?

You need:

Microsoft Excel (365 or 2016+)
Power BI Desktop software (latest version)
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
Zoom

What topics are covered?

This training covers Advanced Excel, SQL & Power BI based data analysis. You will learn a ton of useful, practical concepts developed from my 15+ years of experience using these technologies.

Do I need any prior skills?

It is recommended that you have prior basic skills in Excel & Power BI. No prior knowledge of SQL is necessary although a familiarity with databases / SQL is appreciated.

Can I ask questions?

The session will be highly interactive. You will have lots of opportunities to share your experiences or ask questions.

What if I can’t attend part of the training?

It is highly recommended that you plan to attend all 5 days. While you can watch the recording, you will miss out on the interaction and break-out sessions.
