My name is Stefan. I've been playing with Excel and VBA for a number of years. For the last 2 years, i've made a number of Excel-programs for work.


I found Chandoo a couple of weeks ago and found it really helpfull. Now looking to contribute and once in a while ask a question.

As a Project Manager I've used loads of tips and hints from Chandoo over the past couple of years - but have never used the forum before. I have a problem I haven't been able to solve - basic but annoying.

Ok, firstly a hello to everyone, i have been lurking on the sire receiving the daily tips for a while, but thought it is time to register and talk to the team.


I have been using Excel since Excel97, and have been able to make it do what I need over the years, but in the last 6 months am now responsible for scorecards and dashboards, so the site has been a godsend.

I forgot to add last night... I've been lurking here for almost a year. Thanks to a lot of the tips I've read here, I put together a status report that my management calls "the Ninja Report" because I've taken their data and sliced it every way they want. They love it. Thanks Chandoo and gang.

How can I describe my skills in Excel ? Well, I am not a newbie - have done some small stuff and looking to do bigger and better - piggy backing on Chandoo of course :)

I'm Tyler. I work in banking in North Carolina. I'm pretty good with formulas and standard Excel use. Most of the time I use standard functions to figure out ways of doing things that would probably be easier were I better with macros (though I can do some macro functions as well). My goal is to learn as much about VBA as possible to take my Excel capabilities to the next level.
