Hello .. Introduce yourself

Hi Everyone,

I'm a person who inculcates excel into every work done. I do this just by referring the vast world of Internet and by understanding that way. I find chandoo.org to be very interesting and would like to appreciate the founder on starting such a beautiful website.

Thank You

found Chandoo several years ago, but have been absent for some time. Solutions then were awesome, no doubt my present problem will be sorted very quickly.
hail to Chandoo

As an IT professional, people assume any computer-related issue is my expertise. That includes Excel (sure, I'm no slouch, but also surely no expert). While trying to solve a chart request, I ran across a post re: a very nice waterfall chart on this site. So, I thought I'd join and post and see if the deceptively simple-looking project on my desk was as complex as it seemed after digging into it, or if I was just not seeing the forest for the trees after too many iterative attempts. As a professional, I know when to seek professional help!

Good morning all,
Love your page! I've been visiting it for quite some time now and finally decided to join... Sorry for the delay ;-)
I am not an IT professional, but I've been the Excel 'oracle' at different jobs over the years. (when I am really NOT, I was just a little more interested than the rest) So whenever I came across a problem I couldn't solve myself, I usually ended up here and it always worked. Now I am back with a new problem hoping you can help.

Hi, I have just joined the Forum. I have worked at Lippert Components as a systems business analyst and I am looking at alternative ways to forecast demand throughout our entire company. I would say I am between intermediate/advanced in excel. I have been recommended to use this forum through others that have found it extremely helpful. I look forward to learning new things about excel that will not only help me personally but professionally.

hello newbee here,

I'm Christian Ian Tan, Filipino, working as Administrator in a petrolium company here in Saudi Arabia. I find studying advance excel to be more challenging and usefull. .Really wanted to know more about it. I started studying formulas like vlookup through scratch and now I recently read from the net that Index-Match is much better, soon I'll submerge myself to VBA :D . . I'm newbee so be kind to me chilllzzzzzz. . .

I find the review that this site is really the best in learning excel from beginner to advance, thumbs up to chandoo . . . .

Hi Chandooians! My name is Leslie. I'm from Florida. I stumbled across this awesome forum/website by Googling an Excel question. I'm so looking forward to learning new tips. My Excel knowledge is a novice - on a good day. Just reading through some of the forums, I'm not even following the step by step instructions; so I'm so thrilled at the challenge of learning something new! I know what I'm currently trying to accomplish, but to be honest, I don't know what it is called or what type of formulas produce the results I'm looking for. So I have my work cut out for me. But just think how impressed my boss is going to be when I've solved this problem (with the help of this site)!

:) Hi Everyone, I love this site, I work with Excel constantly and this site has helped me so much. Chandoo is my go to site for all things Excel. Looking forward to learning more. so that one day I can really reache teh realms of awesomeness.

I have been using spredsheets since the 1980s. Unfortunately, many missing features now days.

I really want to format cells so that I do not need to enter = on every stinking formula. You could do this in the 80s. Back then a spread sheet was smart enough to recognize a formula-no need to say, Hey! You, dumb, SS, this is a formula, so here is my =! Now let me let you know for the next 400 cells!

I know this is possible. But how. Nor how to ask a question here.

I am Vilas Desai, from Bangalore, India. I am a professional in Instrumentation, Controls and Automation. I can use some important Excel formulas, but nil on VBA. I am trying to learn Excel VBA coding by building small applications and getting help from experts.

I am Krishna from Anakapalle (Vizag/Visakhapatnam District). I a working as a Senior Data Analyst in a MNC from the last 6 Years.

Hello all!

I recently joined an analysis team that LIVES on excel. Oddly enough, they use it like an abacus. I introduced formulas and something resembling analysis, and want to continue my work, so I am here to learn from the MASTERS!
