Hi! My name is Kim and I work as a teacher's aid in a special education program right now. I know a little more than the basics of excel. The project I am working on now requires some advanced knowledge and I found this awesome site that can offer some great help!! Thank you soooo much! :)

Hello there,

I have been using the site for ages, and didn't realise there was a forum until I stumbled across it.

I use Excel alot for work, at home I am on 2007, but at work I am still on 2003!!! It's killing me at the moment, I am promised an upgrade soon.

Like most, I didn't take to 2007, but now I have been forced to go back to 2003 ( I changed my job recently) I can see all the advantages!

Hi all..

After weeks of thought, finally I have yielded to it.

...

I have finally eaten a whole half kg of ice cream that is...

Well, not really, I have created the forum on PHD. People have been emailing me and asking me "where can I ask a question?" Often telling them to "go bing or google" seems like an idea. But not all problems are solved and that is why we have this forum.

I feel very excited to get this forum ready. I think forum is much more relaxed and fun place than a blog. we can write in a more casual and simple way and connect with each other.

So ... Welcome to PHD forums.. Please tell me about yourself...

Dear sir,

Hello everyone,

I have just joined the forum. My Name is Mahir Yagimli. I live and work in Turkey. I am also taking part at the VBA Classes offered by Chandoo.org. Which is a great experience and a key to a new world for me. After reading through a few of the posts in this forum, I can easily see that I have a long way to go with Excel, but somewhere I have to start. Hopefully with your help I'll become an intermediate, who can help other people (expert is still too far away). Thanks Chandoo and his team for the oppurtunity to join this forum and learn.

Hi! I'm pemartins from Portugal! I hope I can learn something with everyone and share the little I know.

Cheers to all!

I have been a passive observer of this site. Being from the operations background, Excel is one of the lifelines I rely on for everything including analytics, data visualization, charts, dynamic data, etc.

So far, I haven't sought support of members of this forum as I mostly found what data is available not anymore, guess my urge to become awesome in excel is pushing me to reach out to all you people.

Expecting good conversations and learning along the way

Hi, Iam Ramu. Iam a regular visitor of your website. It helps me solve a lot of problems related to my work. I regularly used to read the comments and various answers given by people for your excel challenges.

Hello All,

After a month of learning from this awesome site, I wrote the most complex nested function 2 weeks back, i was amazed by the result but now the formula gives wrong results, it is a time and date function can some one please help.

Hi everyone,
i've been extensively using spreadsheets since they were named Lotus 123. I recently switched to Excel 2010, took me some time to get used to ribbons and this is so frustrating when you know what you want...but have no clue where to find it. But getting the hang and already adding some home-made function.
I'm really looking forward to share and discuss solution with the big brains you have here ;-)

Hello every, I currently work in the US, with SharePoint and I use lots of formulas, which uses a lot of the same Excel formulas. I'm an novice Excel user, but would like to learn more complex formulas as well as charting and pivot tables.

Hi Everyone!

I'm really excited to join this forum! I'm currently trying to build my skillset with Excel and I'm confident that this forum can provide very good feedback during this learning process! I'm a novice with excel and formulas but very new to VBA hence I'm trying to learn more. I know it's a forum but I'm hoping to make some good friends who enjoy excel as much as I do. :)

Working as a project manager, I use excel a lot.
I discovered Chandoo's work a while ago and I must say in most cases it saved me a lot of work, making things so clear and easy !
The forum seems very reactive and I'm very glad we can have access to such a big amount of hints/help !
