Hello .. Introduce yourself

Hello all,

I just joined and am looking for moderate to more advanced help in certain areas. My line of work is not completely congruent to many of yours, as I am a teacher. I am looking for ways to use the data that I collect in my classroom for informative measures for my students and co-teachers.

Hi everyone, I'm Dave, as in Dave the Cardboard Box. Dave leads to Wavey, as in Wavey Davey. And the Swiss part is because I'm English. Although I did live in Switzerland for about 13 years.
So Swiss Wavey, obvious really.
I like mucking around with Excel but I'm an amateur really. Well, people at work think I'm an expert but compared to you folk I'm happy to accept I know nothing!
Looking forward to learning some bits and pieces - and there'll be a fair amount of brain-picking going on. :-D

Afternoon all from here in the UK, after viewing Chandoo for some time now have taken the plunge of registering. Have already learned some great tips and tricks so thank you to all that have helped me (far too many names I neglected to note)

As a comparative novice to you guys I hope you will be gentle with any queries I may have.

Thanks in advance for any help given.

Joe here from a very large consulting/support firm mainly supporting Cisco products. I use Excel to sort/merge data events to attempt to triangulate issues. I'm hoping this site will help me learn more about my data collection.

Hi this is the first forum I have joined, I sometimes need help with some of the formula in excel and this seemed a good place to ask questions someone can help me with.

Hello everyone, I was wandering around excel forums and websites, and finally find the place deserves to be in, where it's full of useful and valuable info.
Thanks.

Hello guys,
My name is Lee and I had been promoted to team leader position. However, due to lacks of knowledge, I need to work and studies really hard to do my best to fulfill my part as a Good team leader.

I really love working at my company and because of that, I found this blog here where I can learn about Excel where Most of the thing here are done manually using excel.

Really hope I can ask for opinions and also submit my edit templates to share with you guys.
Cheers guys.

Hello..... My name is Dharma. And I just joined, greetings from Indonesia. =)

Right now I'm a college student and joined because I really need help in cooking up my data. I haven't touch MS Excel for 7 years, but after some refreshments with hands-on experience and internet, I regained my basic knowledge about MS Excel. But never in my life, that I found myself have to deal with Array Formula(s). Clearly I'm the most newbie here.

And since I think that being capable of using MS Excel will be helpful regardless of professions, I look forward to learn from all of you! =D

Many thanks before.

Hello all,
I'm one of the folks at my workplace with the strongest MS Excel skills which means I need to reach out to Google and forums like this when I get stuck. The tutorials and forum responses here seem really well done and easy to read which is much appreciated. I also like the opportunity to find unfamiliar challenges with examples or "homework" to continue to build on my skills. Thanks to the Gurus here for all your work putting this together and keeping it fresh!
Cheers

Hello all!

I joined to have a resource for advance excel operations that beyond my experience. I need help in creating some advance formulas or vba so I appreciate any assistance that can be provided.

Hi,

This site has been an inspiration to me for all things Excel. While before I would use helper columns for helper columns, now I ask myself WWCD?* before starting any project.

Thanks for making us better Excel users,
Chris
