Extract only positive numbers

I have got a database which consist of positive and negative numbers . Example :

10
5
19
-9
87
-54
82
I want to extract only positive numbers. Is there any formula apart from "IF Condition" to extract the positive numbers only, I do not want to use IF condition. Please help.

Hi, Arupt Dutta Chowdhury!
And just being curious, what sacrilegious IF formula would you have used? For getting a better idea of the layout of your output, nothing else.
Regards!

3 things come to mind.

1. Seems you and IF had hit a rough patch. Did she ditch you for a hot, manly VLOOKUP in a dance bar?
2. Use advanced filter. This can extract all positive numbers and place them in a separate range or sheet.
3. Use =MAX(number, 0) if you just want to suppress negative numbers to 0. If you rather want empty space, use =REPT(number, number>0).

The REPT option converts number to text though.

Select the Range
Goto Data, Filter
On the drop down
Filter Numbers, Greater Than 0

or

Assuming your data is in A1:A8 and has a Title "No"
and In C1 you also have "No"
In C2 you have >0

then Goto Data, Advanced
Copy to Another Location
List Range A1:A8
Criteria Range C1:C2
Copy To E1
Ok
