    Dungeons!!!

You've definitely found a bug in Excel 2013. I just compared Excel 2013 to 2010, and it appears to work without issue in 2010. My uneducated guess is: the drawing objects between each screen is confusing windows. I'm not sure how to fix this issue directly. My suggestion would be to bypass...

    3d Maze in Excel

@tobediff This is super, super AMAZING. Are you sure you don't have an email or linkedin/facebook profile you want to include? I want to make sure you get your due credit as I hand this out to others.

    3d Maze in Excel

I'm glad you like it! I downloaded your file and it looks great - however, the display of some of the pathways is not working correctly. For instance, if you pick a hallway that dead ends but has another path behind it, as you approach the hallway's end it will momentarily disappear and show the...

    Screen recording software [SOLVED]

I know this says solved - but I use http://screencast-o-matic.com/. I've upgraded to the paid version which is super cheap - but I used the free one for a while, and it's great if you don't mind their watermark in the lower-right corner.

    3d Maze in Excel

Hey guys! So Pedro of PedroWave.blogspot.com (not sure if he's registered to this forum?) made a few changes to the maze file including enhancing the layout and adding a few more features ... and it looks stunning. So, I'm please to present to you the second iteration courtesy of Pedro...

    3d Maze in Excel

thanks for the congratulations, friends. but I would be no where if chandoo.org and this forum did not exist. I was thinking about making this into a mini game...perhaps a quest to find Chandoo's hair?

    3d Maze in Excel

So I developed this 3d maze in Excel. (Ok, I guess it's not true 3d.) I'm writing about it (and Excel game development in general) with Cary Walkin (he developed the Excel Game, Arena.xlsm, very recently). If you really feel like it, you can read the tutorials, here...

How are you attempting to create the link to the file? The ampersands shouldn't be a problem if they are housed in quotation marks.

Maintaining chart colors across different computers

I'm using 2013. I believe my friends and colleagues are using 2010 or 2007; nobody I've sent my work to is using 2003 - and I don't anticipate supporting 2003 either. My guess is that on at at least one of my colleague's computers, their company has a theme that is either a new theme set to load...

Maintaining chart colors across different computers

Ha, I accidentally posted this on the old forum. It took me a while to realize it had been deserted. Ok, so: Here's my issue. I have a chart I created in Excel 2013 using default theme colors. Well, I wasn't even aware I was using "theme" colors, I was just using colors I happened to like. I...

VBA CheckBox in UserForm to activate two sets of code 2007

    Well, my answer hasn't changed very much. I would rewrite to look something like this: With Sheet1 NextRw = .Cells(.Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp).Row + 1 .Cells(NextRw, 2).Value = Me.TextBox2.Value .Cells(NextRw, 3).Value = Me.TextBox3.Value .Cells(NextRw, 4).Value = Me.TextBox4.Value...

VBA CheckBox in UserForm to activate two sets of code 2007

Hopefully I've understood your question correctly. If the checkbox is selected, you want ".../A" in the first column and information in the following columns in the next available row, AND you want the next row AFTER THAT to start with ".../B"? In this case, you could make a second AddTo type...

    Most useless excel feature

In following suit with last week's forum post, this week's is: what Excel feature do you think is most useless? I'll start. I really, really don't like the textured and gradient fills which make your spreadsheets look like an acid trip.

    The Chandoo of SQL?

I'm right there with you man. I only have an undergraduate degree - and I'm debating if I should go back to school to get a more advanced degree. It's not that my job needs it - it's just that everyone else I work with seems to have a masters or phd. So it's not clear that I need one...but if...
