What is PtrSafe keyword

Hi,

I have no idea about PtrSafe keyword. Just did Google about this a while ago.
I am trying to know if use of PtrSafe has advantage or disadvantage in the coding.

Also, is PtrSafe required for 64 but machine.
Or are there any constraints or mandates to use or not to use PtrSafe while using machine with X bits.
Is it possible to include PtrSafe keyword in the existing macros.
How do we do it. Can anyone please help me in this.
