Waterfall Chart Connectors

Hi Chandoo,

I am practicing making waterfall charts. I'm not sure how to connect the up and down bars with lines. Can you look at the tab called Waterfall 6 and explain to me how I can do this? I connected the bars on waterfall 7 tab, but waterfall 6 is a different set up. Thank you Joe, Michigan.

Your Waterfall 6 chart has an error
B8 should be =B7-D8

First Fix B8 and add a column for the value of each line
H3: =G3
H4: =H3+G4 copy this down



Now add a series to the chart as a Line Chart
Then change the series to a Scatter Chart
Then add a Horizontal Error Bar
Format the error bar
Set the Line to Scatter Line and markers to None
Enjoy
