Trendline go below 0

Hi,

I am ploting a graph and for some reason when I put a trendline on my graph it makes the graph plot to -10000 and it goes below (0) my X axis. How can i fix this?

Thanks

Set the Minimum Axis value to 0

Right click on the Axis
Select Format Axis
Set the Minimum to 0

Set the Minimum Axis value to 0

Select Format Axis
Set the Minimum to 0

Changing the axis min to 0 didn't help. Its that trend line starts from the second bar and goes below axis even tho there are no 0 values in the chart.

Thanks

The Trendline functionality is only modelling your data

If your sales etc are falling, it will have a downward trend and yes, it can cross the 0 aixs

You could change the calculation of the trendline to 'power'. That will not accept negative values but the zero cutoff comes at a price of having some wild behaviour at the high end.
