Smart Filtering Method

Hi,

I am trying to find a smart way so that I can filter line items in the follow situation:

Let's say I have: One unique line item with one of the columns having multiple possible scenarios. My goal is to able to see only one unique line item even if they are broken out into multiple.

E.g. [I want to be able to collapse with a filter to only show that it is truly one unique line item in terms of creating an estimate, but the Column 3 does contain unique values.

ID Column 1 Column 2 Column 3
1 Cash Money Gold
1a Cash Money Silver
1b Cash Money Platinum

Thank you,

JuliusV

The example I provided is to help provide color to my question.

Essentially, I want to be able to collapse the 4 line items in 1 and 2 into just One Unique ID for each when I filter. Therefore, when I do a filter and count I can easily identify the amount of unique ID's there are which should only be 2.

Note: I know in this example, you can just filter and see there are only 1 and 2. But the data I have contains 1000+ entries.
