Hello,
I am trying to create a production schedule for a furniture manufacturing in excel. I wanted to know if this was realistic. Production is a bit complex: they have 300+ models and they have different workflows with different combinations. Lead time is also different for most models. Capacity could be defined by maximum output per week and per department, but it also depends on the product mix of the orders. My schedule should include delivery dates of each weekly order received. Lastly, the work is done mostly by hand, but machines are also used in some departments. I am not sure where to start and would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!!
