I have a spreadsheet of data and one of the columns on that spreadsheet is the month. I enter the month data as January, February...etc. so I just do the month name. I do this so when I create my pivot table, I can look for data for that particular month. When I drag the month over to the pivot table, it lists two Octobers and two Novembers. Then I have to look at both months on the pivot table instead of that one month that I have to get the data. Does that make sense? Does anyone know why the pivot table list two entries of the same month?
