Pivot table -dates grouping

From a data sheet consisting of dates, sales persons, sales values, products sold, I did a sheet PT(1) consisting of dates, sales persons, sales values and sheet PT (2) consisting of dates, products, sales values. Then i did a sheet PT(3), grouping the dates into month/year, so there is dates, sales persons and sales value. The problem is in the earlier sheets PT(1) and PT(2), the dates row is in month/year automatically. How can I get back the dates as when they were input earlier as individual dates.

Firstly, Welcome to the Chandoo.org Forums

I may have misunderstood your question but can't you just Right Click on the Date Field in the Pivot Table and Ungroup

I tried to do as you suggested. Firstly there is no UNGROUP option when I right click. Secondly in the tab Pivot table > options > UNGROUP is not highlighted to allow clicking it.

Chevalblanc,

probably you're trying right click somewhere else.

First, you should left click row with dates in it. Then you can see option to ungroup highlighted. Or right click, but click in one cell in a date row or column.
