Pivot of two sheets having different type of data

Hi Team,

I have two files having a prodct code ,its plan for a week ,and the factory it is made in .second sheet has customer state and sales per month of dose product code .I want to create a pivot having details of coloumn where it is made how much it is made and whre all it is sold,and how much was it sold.

Can you please help me on this.
 
Hi Neha,

you can do it, if your are using 2003 version, then use the Use Pivot Table Wizard. For 2007/10 use Alt, D, P & follow the Wizard steps.
 
In 2013 Data relationships was introduced and Chandoo posted about it a few days ago

Hi Srinidhi ,the pivot table wizard has a limitation that data type of both the tables should be same hence ,I am facing some issue.I will paste snapshot of the two files I have

You could use Microsoft Query to join the data. Google it and see what comes up. Also see http://www.exceluser.com/explore/msquery1_1.htm
