Hello Mr.Excel,

Can you help me with the below task.

I wanna make an oval graph using angle and drop at each angle.

Eg:

0 0

10 -14

20 -53

30 -113

40 -186

45 -225

50 -264

60 -338

70 -397

80 -436

90 -450

ie : When comes to 90 deg the radius becomes (actual radius @0 deg - 450)

this graph i want to make for 90 or 180 or 270 or 360 , as per the data available with me.

Can you help.

Please let me know if you didn't undrstnd the task.

Hi Ashfaq,

Welcome to the "Chandoo's" forums...(this is not Mr.Excel's Blog!! :)

In your given data the first column is radius and the second one is angle is that correct??

Hi Ash,

See this file:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/60644346/Radius_Angles.xlsx

It will be helpful if you add some pic or jpg of the graph you want, if this one is not appropriate or just use drawing tool of excel to draw and image and upload the sample file.

To share files Refer: http://chandoo.org/forums/topic/posting-a-sample-workbook

Faseeh's file works well

Select a point on the Chart, Right Click, Format Series, Set the line color to what ever you want

You can insert rows to extend the series to 360 Degrees and just copy the formulas above

Hello,

I have done it , eventhough it is not as i wanted it. Thanks for the file Faseeh , That gave me the idea of doing it in this way..
