Hui Excel Ninja Staff member Aug 10, 2012 #3 Injinia As Luke said there is no way to natively do what you want, It is a shame you can't un-dock the Legend (MS I hope your listening ! ) Using Lukes Technique has the disadvantage that if you have to add/delete series from the chart you have to edit both Charts You can however make the Chart are of a normal chart huge and set the background color to None = Transparent Then make the plot area small and move the Plot area and Legend are where ever you require independently The biggest downside to this is that it makes it more difficult to get to any cells that are behind the chart area
