How to unhide dozens of rows at once

I'm working in a spreadsheet that was created by someone else, where for whatever reason he chose to hide a bunch of rows.

The rows progress as follows:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 47, 52, 53, 70, 90, 95

Is there a way to unhide all the rows in between at once?

Thanks!

Click the small area to the Upper Left of Cell A1
Then Right Click on any Row Header and Unhide

or

Select Row 1
Then Ctrl Shift Down Arrow to Row 90
Then Right Click on any Row Header and Unhide

Thanks Hui. Those are the first things I tried, but to no avail. Is it possible that these rows are permanently hidden somehow?

Good day PipBoy808

Have you opened the Developer tab to see if there is any VBA code that is hiding these rows. Or right click on the sheet tab and select "View Code"

There's some VBA working in the background, so it's quite possible. I think I'll chalk this up to a bit of a mystery. I can work without knowing what the cause of it is anyway, so it's not that big a deal.

Copy the data to a new workbook and see if your problem has gone...if you select all of the sheet you may copy any VBA as well

In Excel, you can always find things out if you want to.

If there's some VBA then when you open the workbook, do not enable macros then VBA will not affect anything. And then try to unhide rows as Hui has explained.

Good day shrivallabha

You would be surprised how many users have set macro permisions so that they do not get the warnings and worksheets open with macros.

That's quite possible. I'm moving on for now as I've other Excel things to accomplish, but I may yet return to this if I notice it happening elsewhere.
