How to search previous Questions listed on Chandoo's forum

Hi,


Would someone be able to tell me if it's possible to search previous posts contained within the Chandoo forum?


In this way I can avoid repeating a question that has been asked [multiple times] before.

Hi Mark ,


There are two ways I can see :


1. Using the search box in the upper right hand corner of the home screen ; type any text in the search box and click on the SEARCH button ; this will return all pages on this forum which contain the entered text.


2. Using the tags listed under HOT TAGS on the left side of the home screen e.g. if you want all the references to data-validation , click on the data validation tag.

At the top right hand corner there is a search box, just enter a key word and press search. It will display one or two non Chandoo sites but after that there will be more Chandoo post than you can read with out a large cup of coffee, I have found it very helpful on many occasions and will save you from posting questions.

There are two types of Tags

Search by Categories

http://chandoo.org/wp/category/XXX/

eg: Formula Forensics: http://chandoo.org/wp/category/formula-forensics/


Search by User Name

http://chandoo.org/forums/profile/XXX

eg: User Hui: http://chandoo.org/forums/profile/hui


Google

Don't Forget that Chandoo.org is fully indexed by Google, which means you can do a search of Chandoo.org without visiting Chandoo.org

Goto any Google Search page and use:

site:Chandoo.org XXX


eg: Search for Sumproduct on Chandoo.org

use: site:Chandoo.org Sumproduct
