how to put If for various result

hello,

i need to put if command to get result in different cell

for example A1-B1 = or < 0 the result should be zero only ( i wish to avoid (- figurs) can any body help me please

Hi Kalpesh ,


Use the MAX function , as in =MAX(0,A1) will give 0 if A1 is less than 0.


Instead of A1 , you can have any formula also.

@ Narayan i dident understand Max Function coz i wish to avoid -ve value in result box a1 & b1 both contains +ve values

=MAX(0,A1-B1)

=(A1>=B1)*(A1-B1)
