Hello all.

When i enter Some text in a cell I can Bold or underline some part of it.

My question is : Is it possible in text calculated by a formula ?

I Want to highlight status in The tweetboard in my gantt xls file

not possible afaik. You can however use split the text in to multiple cells and then bold a few if you want. (alternatively, you can use text boxes and assign formulas to them and align multiple boxes together to create the bold feeling)

Chandoo is right, except that with excel there are always options

You could use conditional formatting to Bold an entire entry in a Tweetboard based on some variable elsewhere or a word within the entry

or

You could use macros to populate your tweet board rather than formulas

This would allow bold individual words within each entry.

Many thanks to both of you.

You know how much I avoid macros each time I can (dumb users afraid of "Macro" warning) but this time I cannot figure how to bold part of a cell within a macros ?

Is there other ways of using say cell color or Traffic Lights etc to highlight a point

Yes, First point of the tweetboard, I want the part Calculs!F38 and Calculs!E38 to be bold.

F38 replaces with "retard" / "avance"

E38 contains a number.
