How to convert an xlsx file to an xls file

Hi guys. I assume this has been answered but I cannot find it here.
I am using Win7 Ultimate 2009, 64 bit and running Excel 2010.
My excel files are saved as xlsx files. I need to change one of them to an xls file in order to get it floated on my web (Joomla).
The options to convert the file are many but none that I can see offer an xls option.
I would appreciate it if someone has a solution. Hopefully nothing radical that some of the Google suggestions offer.
Thanks
Mal

Hi Mal

You should have an option in your Saveas Type: called Excel 97-2003 Workbook

This will be your ticket to freedom.

Take care

If you do a lot of this and you want to set *.xls as the default file type

Goto the File Menu
Options
Save
Save files in this format: Excel 97-2003 Workbook (*.xls)
