Hiding Rows error

Everytime I try to hide a bunch of rows on this one spreadsheet I keep getting an error saying "Cannot shift objects off sheet." I can't figure out why. Can anyone help me with this? I have never seen this error before when just simply trying to hide multiple rows.

try the following

- check your rows for merged cells, especially cells merged vertically with rows outside the range your trying to hide, unmerge if you find any

- check for locked cells in that range, unlock any

- use the select tool from the Drawing tool bar and check and remove drawing objects, often these can be invisible, so use the select tool and try and draw a rectangle covering the entire range and see what you can find, these objects often come in with data copied from web pages
