Help with chart type - Trade size and date [SOLVED]

Hello,


I am trying to decide on the best way to construct and display a chart to show the data below. These are trades for the quarter. I need to show Dollar price across time and somehow also show the trade sizes. I tried using bubbles but because most trades occurred in the same days, it looks funny. Any suggestions? Thanks

If your trying to show individual transactions on each date you could use date as the X Axis and add a new field Counter for the Y Axis with the Transaction size as the Bubble size. Counter would be manually set to say 10, 20, 30 etc for each date so that there was separation between transactions


Or you could use a Stacked Column Chart, but your data isn't setup correctly for that

It would involve rearranging your data so that each transaction for a date is in the same row


I'd simply suggest summarizing each date so that you have a Total transactions for that date and using a simply Column Chart

Thank you Hui! This helped a lot. I decided to show two graphs - one showing trade size and one showing the price.
