Hi,

But the background color was changed but graph was not display.

i have created the file in excel 2007

why is not worked? Please help...

Hi Supriya ,

I am using Excel 2007 , and your file is perfectly OK.

Only , the Inbound and COD charts don't work on their own option buttons ; when you click on Inbound , the COD chart is displayed , and when you click on COD , the Inbound chart is displayed.

Narayan

Hi Supriya ,

Check out the mechanism by which the selected chart is displayed :

1. When you click on the dashboard image , do you see :

Picture 7 - in the Name Box

=chtsel - in the Formula Bar

2. When you go to the Name Manager , do you see the following range names defined ?

[pre]
Code:
chart1	=  'Monthly Summary'!$A$36:$M$52
chart2	=  'Monthly Summary'!$A$53:$M$68
chart3	=  'Monthly Summary'!$A$69:$M$85
chart4	=  'Monthly Summary'!$A$86:$M$101
chart5	=  'Monthly Summary'!$A$102:$M$118
chart6	=  'Monthly Summary'!$A$119:$M$135
chtsel	=  CHOOSE('Monthly Summary'!$A$1,chart1,chart2,chart3,chart4,chart5,chart6)
[/pre]
3. When you scroll down in the Monthly Summary tab , do you see all the charts at their supposed-to-be locations ?

4. When you click on each option button , do you see the value in cell A1 going from 1 through 6 ?

Narayan

hi Narayan,

Thanx for responce

I have check all.

Ranges are proper.

if u see, i colored all the ranges. On my PC while i selecting option button all colors are change as per option the only graph was not displayed

Hi Supriya ,

Sorry , but I am still not clear on whether you checked all the 4 points in my earlier post , and whether all the results were as they were supposed to be ? It would be nice , if you could take some time to give the results as follows :

1. Satisfactory

2. - do. -

3. - do. -

4. - do. -

Clear , thorough communication is an absolutely essential part of problem solving !

When you go down to the chart1 through chart6 range locations , are you able to see the original charts properly ? If so , then provided all the other points are confirmed , you should check the picture properties of Picture 7.

Narayan

sorry Narayan,

I have checked all the points as. Below is result

1- Satisfy -- it has formula ( =chtsel)

2- checked (all is perfect)

3- checked ( When scroll down i saw all graphs

4- checked not worked --- when i select any option instead of displaying graph picture shows the background color only.

Hi Supriya ,

Thanks for the confirmations ; on point 4 , I have to assume that cell A1 changes its value from 1 through 6.

Can you clarify what your comment against point 4 means ? As you click on each button , what happens exactly ? What is the meaning of "showing background color only" ? Does the color change from blue to pink to peach and so on ?

Narayan

Hi Supriya,

Sorry for putting my nose in the middle of the convesation.. :)

Can you please select Column S, T, U & V and change the font color to Black..

Now Please confirm is there any data available..

Sorry Narayan.. :)

Regards,

Deb

Hi Debraj ,

No problem , as long as Supriya is helped out.

What I can understand from whatever we have dialogued , is that the charts are elsewhere , not in the ranges that have been referred to as chart1 , chart2 ,...

When I move the chart out of the specified ranges , clicking on the buttons changes the background colors to whatever the ranges have been colored , but no chart appears.

Narayan

Hi Deb,

Not an issue.

Our moto is only to resolve the problem...

Narayan : now u got my problem.

i m not able to sort out this...

Ok Narayan. the problem is here..

Supriya..

Go to PageLayout > Arrange > Click "Selection Pane.."

in the left hand side..

1. How Many Shapes in this sheet..

2. if 6 option button, 6 chart and one Picture 7, then how many have 'EYES' is showing..

3. If any of them EYE is not showing, then click on the blank box..

Good luck.. :)

Regards,

Deb

Finally a silly question..

What the default printer attached with your PC.. any Zebra or Thermal Printer..

Can you please go to VBA (Alt + F11)

Go to Immediate Window (Ctrl + G)

and write

Code:
? Application.ActivePrinter

Please confirm the printer Name..

Hi Supriya,

So you don't have any physical Printer. Are you able to see the Graphs in bottom part of excel (A36 to M137)..if yes..

Still a blind shot..

* Can you please change your printer to some PDF or FAX.. Printer.. (go to ControlPanel

>> Device and Printer .. Right Click any other Printer (if available)..Set as Default Printer,

* After changing(and restarting) if still not worked.. Can you please kill DWM.exe from Task Manager..

* If still not solved then .. download any Remote Sharing Software (for exp.. AMMYY (search in Google) download and provide me ID (my mail ID is here.. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/78831150/Excel/MyMailId.xlsm ), As I think, problem is not with EXCEL, problem is somewhere else..

Best of Luck..
