Forum Software Upgrade [Done]

I am doing a minor software upgrade for the forum. This will cause downtime of approximately 15 minutes. Stay tuned.

Just my 2 cents:
1. The post window earlier looked colorful and more of self explanatory..
2. I expected an section in the post window where one could use to the excel values to paste and will look same like on excel (since that's the need of the hour in most of the posts)...
3. 'Staff Member' instead of the Ninja's look good and micely presented..

@all.. One of the new features of 1.2.x is that it offers responsive design & support for iOS / Android rendering. This might have caused the change in post editor.

I will investigate plugins that can help people copy paste Excel ranges with ease.

I also noticed a "drafts" button! Very cool! Helps folks like me who get distracted with other stuff! (I manually inserted this smiley.)

However, I noticed a change in how the smileys get inserted. It used to insert the smiley where my cursor was... but now it inserts it at the beginning of the post! Oh well!

Nice addition with the "Staff Member" emblem! Now if it will show them if they are online, that would be even cooler!

There doesn't appear to be a single xenForo Change Log site

It has links to changes for all versions

Could this be why I keep getting asked to Log In when I try to download a file, post a reply, although I am already logged in.

Kchiba the upgrade was done yesterday so if you have had a login problem for a few days it has to be something else. Is your browser clearing its cache at down/close?

Have you tried the option "keep me logged in" when logging in. This should keep the cookies alive.

Yes, but I do not always use that.

Let me spell out what has happened that i can remember, in one case I had typed up a response and when trying to upload the file, I was asked to log in.

seems to be working OK today

It seemed to forget us for a few days and then today it has returned to normal

Yesterday, It happened to me as well. I thought it might be a cookie issue. I guess it is back to remembering
