Somewhat related; for those of us who post on multiple forums, often dealing with different languages, here's an online formula translator I like to use (also handles the comma -> semicolon issue)

For those using a non english Excel version,
to convert your local formula to an english native one :
select your formula cell and on VBE side within "Immediate" window
(opened via Ctrl + G) just enter & valid ?activecell.formula …

The same way to convert an english formula in your local version :
activecell.formula = "=theEnglishFormulaHere" …
