I have a string "Buy 100 shares IBM @ 135.90"

I would like to display this in a "cell" in excel but Buy should be in BLUE, if Sell then it should be in RED etc. is there a way to do this ?

colors are background or foreground is OK.

thanks

You can use conditional formatting to achieve what you want

Setup 2 conditional formats

Cell value contains "Sell"

Cell value contains "Buy"

set Background Color or Text styles as appropriate

You won't be able to just color the single word
