The link is to a back up copy of a workbook I use to track preventive maintenance. The original workbook became corrupted and would not function, i.e. the macro would not run. Some background: Hui helped me out quiet a bit with the macro, the userform and col F (hidden). Its worked fine, although in a "test mode". I added some formatting to highlight cells and it basically started to crash. Any suggestions as to how reduce the size and also what can corrupt a file?

A few things to look at

1. You can save the file as an *.xlsb (Excel Binary) file it will go from 10.7 to 2.8MB with no loss of functionality

2. There are a heap of Circular References in CONV SCHEDULE! Column E, they always slow things down

Thanks Hui, that works. Is there a "catch" to using .xlsb?

Circular Referecne- I wanted to fill the blank cells w/a date in order to be able to sort by the date instead of text. Asa, in a previous post set me straight, just enter "0" and format cells as a date. That removed the cir. ref. in the original/corrupted file but I didn't make the changes to the back up.
