This is what I ended up with in the end, I appreciate all the help. The bullet chart might be a bit big but I was filling space until I thought of something else to add.
I have tried to do something using 'Spark Lines', the graph produced is simple yet attractive. Please see the attached file. (If you can't see the graph line resort to the last sheet that has a screen shot of the same). I hope you will like it!!
Your last chart looks great, but when i try to change the dates from drop-down on top left, i goes to searching for some file and asks to open it? Perhaps it might be due to some linkage to file on your HD or so, overall it looks cool.
I can recall that few days back chandoo refereed how to make charts better and he refereed to some other site. I have tried searching for that post but am unable to locate it. I can remember one of the points: 'De-emphasize borders'. Can you locate the post. It might help hitmanwa.
Here's an unprotected copy, I probably could have tightened it up a bit as far as the code and how everything is calculated and compiled but I'm still learning some of this.
You won't be able to update it because it pulls the data from 4 other files located on our network.
I didn't use sparklines, I wanted to, because some of our associates aren't on 2010 and my understanding is they don't show up on versions prior to 2010.
