Hui Excel Ninja Staff member May 10, 2011 #6 CSV, Files do not have the ability to store Text or Background Color, Fonts or other such formatting But you can specify how the numbers and text is stored You may have worked on a file in Excel and formatted it If you Save As a *.csv file you will loose any formatting. In these cases save as an Excel File *.xlsx
