Copy cell results from A1 to b1 without formula

I have a pesky circular reference error that I'm trying to eliminate. Ultimately, I'd like copy the value using a formula from cell A1 and into B1 and allow the other dependent formulas to use the resulting value ONLY from B1. If I use B1=A1 then the circular ref happens.
