conditional multiplication

i have a range of cells. in that i am getting some negative values.

how can i multiply only those cells with -1.

Think, The Column A contained

100

-50

-3

Write in B2

=IF(A2<0,A2*(-1),A2)

I think you want to convert negative value to positive value. You can do this simply.

Write in B2

=ABS(A1)

actually i am binding repeater from c# to excel. exporting to excel.


so after getting values to excel how can i change that

I have no idea what you last post meant?


Nazmul's post in B2: =Abs(A2) then copy down

will solve your issue

Then copy column B and paste over itself as values

Then delete Column A
