Classroom plan based on desk and room size

Hi,

Can some one help me write a VBA code for a classroom layout.

I want something where I can enter the size of room, size of desks, required spaces in between and it gives me maximum no of desks i can fir in the best possible layout.

think this can be done ?

You will need to include half the gap on each side of a desk into the desk size
eg if a Desk is 1500 x 800 and a gap is 1000 mm
use a desk size of 2500 x 1800
