I was going through the Dynamic chart section in chandoo.org tutorial page and came accros this link this chart named "What our mouth-watering chart will look like when its done:"

All i want to know is what exactly has to be done if we have to see the Sale has different colour and when profit was selected balck was overriding the sale grey colour and then line for no of customers.

Please explain in detail as i am very new to charts subject and there options.

Thanks

If You select the chart and then right click on it and select Change Series Chart Type you will see it is a Combo Chart with 3 series
The two Columns are a Clustered Column meaning that there are two series they just happen to totally overlap each other
the Third series is a Line Chart

The Light grey series Sales is the first series
You will notice that when Profit is not selected that the Profits are shown as #N/A
Excel won't plot these points on the chart because of the #N/A error

When you select Profit

The second Black series is now shown
Notice how the Profits are shown instead of the error message

I will let you look at the formulas in the Sales and Profits Column
