Change vertical axis title to one line from two lines

Hi,

I want to change the vertical axis title of a bar graph from two lines to one line. Yes, I did change the font size but it has to be very small to be in one line (which is understandable). However, I noticed that in some charts the title was two lines long and in others it was one line (this is because the width of the box was different in the two graphs - not something I changed manually). When I format pasted the axis title it did work but not for all, so I want to be able to change the width/length of the box manually. I am sure if the title is stretched from top to bottom of the vertical scale, then the wording can fit in one line. However, I have not been able to change the width of the axis title box manually. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thank you!

Right click on the Label and see if there is a Text option to wrap text, turn it off

Stretch the Box so that it is long and not very high

Excellent! Text box option works for me, albeit a way around the problem. Thanks, Dave.

Hui: Unfortunately, there is no wrap text option on right click. The one on menu bar suggests it was inactive.
