can 2010 files be supported in 2013 excel [SOLVED]

continuing last post i do feel can we run excel 2010 files in 2013 version although i know 2013 have powerful features,can any one explain it.

The Excel 2010 files can be read by 2013

2013 files can be read by 2010 except for the new functions
