Avoid using Structured References in Excel 2007 tables

Is there a way to avoid using structured references when referencing a cell in a Excel 2007 table?

I know you can write the cell coordinates and it would work but Ill prefer to disable this functionality so I can click on a cell in a table.

I had the same problem with pivot tables where every time I selected a cell I got the Getpivotdata function but I found how to disable this functionality.

Thanks for your help.

P.D. I like that functionality but sometimes I just need to use the old-school method.

There is an option under

Options, Formulas, Working with formulas

called Use table names in formulas

Unselect that and see if that helps
