About Excel Legend Colours

Good day Ananthram


Highlight the cell/right click/format cells/fill/pattern styles.


Colour and format as required
 
good day sir,


but what i need it legend colour's in same patterns like


1. red

2. yellow

3. pink

4. brown


the same way it should there for each and every graphs/chart created by me so please let me know how can i do this.

I think the only way to do this is to format a chart as you want it and then save the chart as a chart template, when you use the template you will change the data input but the colours will stay the same

The Legend Colors will always match the Series format

If they don't delete the legend

then re-instate it using the menu


To change the legend colors

select the series Line /column and Ctrl 1 or Right Click Format


set the fill and colors etc

The legend will change as you change the series
 
Thanks a lot Hui sir u made my day easier but it would be easier when it automatically save right. is there anything like that we can save it to quick format toolbar

If you select a Chart

Then goto the Chart Tools, Design, Save as Template Tab

This allows you to save the current Chart's layout including colors, fonts, line styles Fill, etc as a Template

You can then apply the template to any new or existing charts


Select a new chart

Right Click on it; Change Chart Type

Templates

Select your template

Apply
