Hi All,

I am using google spreadsheet shared with 5-6 people, i want to know that is there any code or formula that if value in a particular cell in modified by any user than the color of cell get changed.

Or is it possible to get details by which user data get modified with name, date and time stamp.

Hi Narayan,
I posted a question (answered) similar to Formula Challenge 002 (Sajan, 2013) to which you replied:
=IF(SUM($B$2:B2)-SUM($A$3:A3)>=Threshold,SUM($B$2:B2)-SUM($A$3:A3),0)
I cannot make yours to work. 1) What is > ? 2) Row 3 contains the result manually entered. How can it be part of the formula? I am missing something.

Hi, I am hoping you might be able to help. I have a spreadsheet in which 3 of the columns have data validation (lists). Multiple users access this spreadsheet and overide the validation. Assume by pasting data. Is there a way that I can protect the validation while allowing users to enter data from a pick list?

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to run a macro whenever any workbook is opened? I know how to code a regular workbook_open event. Specifically, what I'm after is whenever a workbook is opened, to have VBA evaluate if workbook contains a specific sheet and specific value in that sheet in cell B5, and advise the user if the Sheet is available and cell value is not equal to "1234".
