Work days formula

Hi Champs,
Please help me in formulating an excel formula to calculate the work days including saturday.
i need a formula to bring the solution mentioned at cell F2 and not D2.
I have attached the excel for your kind perusal.

=SUMPRODUCT((WEEKDAY(ROW(INDEX($A:$A,B3):INDEX($A:$A,B23)))<>7)*1)

Hi Narayan,
Thanks for swift response.. i need a formula to calculate workdays including Saturday. The file attached was just for explanation purpose. I just need to select start date and end date and i should get the workdays number.

Given the start date of 1/1/2014 , and an end date of 1/21/2014 , what is the number of days you wish to get ?

Using the formula I posted , what are you getting ?

Your post describes your requirement as :

Your worksheet puts 0 against each Saturday.

Perhaps you need to post the version of excel you are using, if you are using Excel 2010>. The you can use the NETWORKDAYS.INTL function.

=NETWORKDAYS.INTL(B3,B23,"0000001")

=B23-B3-INT((1-WEEKDAY(B23)+B23-B3)/7)
