What is the formula for Linear Trendline?

Thanking you in advance again for your amazing support...

I want to analyze the pattern of value in a span of 30 days.
For this, I add the Linear Trendline to my chart. Please see the attached file.

My question is, is there any way to do Linear Trendline manually, without clicking the button in the ribbon? I want to obtain the values for this trendline.

Should I use moving average...?
Or is there any function that can achieve this...?

You can do it with Slope and Intercept Functions. Please see attachement.

Hi ,

The following formula , entered as an array formula , using CTRL SHIFT ENTER , will display , as an array , the two values.

=LINEST($C$2:$C$31, $B$2:$B$31,TRUE)

Make sure to enter the formula in two horizontal cells next to each other e.g. D1 , E1.
