Want Grade in value field instead of count in a pivot table

dear all,
I have a table, in which a column named Grade contains A, B, C, .... F.
now I insert a pivot table, in value field, when i drag the grade field, naturally it displays count of grade. pls note that in colum field i put exam and every exam has unique grades e.g. exam 1 has A to F grade, Exam 2 Has A to F grade and so on.
my question is this that how I show grades (A, B, C, ...) in value field instead of count of grade.

You need to move Grades to row field, not Data field. The Data fields can only show numbers.
